Note that you can configure most of the Edge options I describe here by clicking the three dots in the top right corner of the browser window (or pressing Alt+F)and then choosing Settings from the Edge menu. While it does sound a bit off-putting when you have to rely on other browsers instead of the inbuilt package, it is also true that an unreliable browser can lead to more problems than anything else. The most recommended replacement is the Chrome browser by Google or even the Opera browser.
